EQUINE TOUR AT NATIONAL EQUESTRIAN CENTER
Calling all Singaporeans who haven’t used your SingapoRediscovers vouchers (SRV)! Do you desire to help the disadvantaged community but do not know how to? Well, here’s your chance. Don’t miss it!
Donate your SRV to the less privileged communities in Singapore. Gift them with an enriching equine experience at NEC.
Some key highlights of NEC equine tour include a unique, real-life experience of equine grooming experience.
Fun with cool activities with ponies.
Have fun and learn about ponies and horses in a fun, controlled and safe environment! Getting started by taking a little tour around our Stables to get an exclusive peek into their daily lives. You will also be getting up-close and personal with our ponies when you will pick up useful tips on how to give them a good grooming session.
Whole session will take about an hour approximately depending on the size of the group, and below are the breakdown of the activities:
Kids learning more about horses from professional trainers.
Tour around stables and learn how equine friends live, rest and feed

Did you know how the senses of horses differ from human?
Giving an equine friend a good body brush and wash treat.
Taste: Likes salty and sweet, not medicinal
Hearing: Directional ears, keener than humans, mood indicatior
Smell: Becomes familiar
Touch: Very sensitive, especially around head
Sight: Monocular and binocular
The fun, educational and interactive session will wrap up with a delicious sandwich/bento set provided by Dignity Kitchen for our hungry beneficiaries.
