SINGAPORE RIVER

Do you still have unused Singapore Rediscover Vouchers (SRV)? Wondering what to do with them? You prefer to use it for a good cause but don’t know how? You need not look further – here’s how!

This nostalgic learning tour will bring beneficiaries from the Boys Brigade – youths and their guests – underserved ones from the community to key sites along the Singapore River.

Some key highlights of this tour include a cool boat ride from Boat Quay and visit to Fullerton Hotel, statue of Sir Stamford Raffles, Asian Civilisation Museum, and the Arts House. There will be free pick-up and drop-off, sumptuous meals, and interesting door gifts for our beneficiaries. This tour will be sponsored by your kind donation of the SingapoRediscover Vouchers (SRV).

To kickstart the tour, our guests will enjoy a relaxing ride on a traditional bumboat for the River Cruise. This is a traditional transportation our forefathers used for work at the shores of Singapore River. Along the ride, they will learn and enjoy the scenic views down the river, along Marina Bay. Thereafter, our guests will enjoy a nice walk down Singapore River. They will visit key landmarks such as the Fullerton Hotel, the statue of Sir Stamford Raffles, Asian Civilisation Museum, and the Arts House.

At the end of the tour, light refreshments await them from Dignity Kitchen. We specially chose Dignity Kitchen for their fresh menu, and in support of their mission to restore dignity to the differently abled and disadvantaged.
